Cupuaçu is a tree that grows in the tropical rainforests of the Amazon basin, and commonly comes from Bolivia, Colombia, Brazil and Peru. It’s actually the national fruit of Brazil.
The oil from this plant is deeply penetrating and is a superb emollient. Cupuaçu is also nourishing for dry and dehydrated skin. It is even more effective than Shea butter and Lanolin, while also having an unmatched ability to help retain moisture.
